Bardejovské Kúpele is located in northeastern Slovakia. They are part of Bardejov, about 5 km from the city. Nearby is the Magura massif, which protects the city from winds and weather changes. Makovica is located 1 km from the center of Nižná Polianka, located near the road I / 77 Bardejov - Svidník. In the resort you will find a 900 m long medium-difficult (red) ski slope with an attractive profile. The piste is technically snowed and regularly maintained. The ski season in Regetovka starts in December and lasts until March. The total length of the slopes is 3.0 km, of which 1.4 km are artificially snowed. In the area of the ski resort Regetovka there are 5 lifts with a total transport capacity of 3,600 people per hour. Parents with children also have the opportunity to use the children's ski lift. A suitable combination of demanding terrain allows the use of the center by beginner and experienced skiers. For fans of cross-country skiing, there are 5 km of maintained trails in the Regetovka area. Within a radius of 300 meters from the lifts there are 250 parking spaces for visitors to the ski resort.

Church of St. Egídia is located on the north side of the Town Hall Square. It is traditionally oriented, in an east-west direction, with a shrine on the east side. The dominant part of the church is the middle part, with the sanctuary and the main nave (24 m high), which is adjacent to the two lower side aisles. Church of St. Egídia is a three-aisled building of the basilica type with ships built in the east-west direction and the main entrance from the south side. The presbytery is terminated by a polygonal closure. The sacristy is attached to the north wall, on the south side there is a vestibule with two side chapels and an adjoining third chapel.

In the bosom of beautiful nature, close to the famous Bardejov Spa, near Bardejov, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you will find an oasis of peace, history and a return to the times of a traditional village from the 19th and first half of the 20th century. The first Slovak exposition of the open-air museum was opened to the public in 1965 in Bardejovské Kúpele. At present, it consists of almost 30 buildings of traditional folk architecture from the area of Upper Šariš and from north-eastern Zemplín. The dominant feature of the open-air museum are two wooden temples transferred from the village of Zboj and from the nearby village of Mikulášová, which are a great example of sacral architecture. In the open-air museum you will also find residential log houses or buildings with technical equipment: a smithy, granaries, a fruit dryer and a well and barns.
